My name is Krista and I'm a dogaholic. Yes, I admit it. I just can't help myself. I see a dog and I have to take a photograph. It's particularly bad (or good, depending on your perspective) when I'm travelling. I have over a thousand photos of dogs from Portugal alone!

In 2004 I came up with a way to combine my love of dogs and my fascination with mosaics. I call it Ditto Dog Photo Mosaics. Have a look below and you can see how I transform a photo of a dog into an intricate pattern that at first glance looks like fabric or fancy ceramic tile.

I like to have a good selection from which to choose. The background is just as important as the dog when it comes to making a good mosaic.
